project adopts a multi-sectoral approach to development by operationalizing the linkages between agriculture, food security, nutrition and social protection.
The project will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
One of the components of the project is "School Food and Nutrition Programme linked to the Agricultural Sector". The Social and Industrial Foodservice Institute (SIFI) is providing technical assistance to FAO in implementing pilots in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
We developed the project proposals for each country based on the state of school feeding development in respective countries.
