We — adults understand how important it is to follow main nutrition and healthy lifestyle principles. But how to convince children — fans of eating french fries, lollopops, drinking Coke to follow them?
It is easy! Just give them what they are interested in most of all — interactive games, competitions and prizes! And that's what we've done.
After headmaster's welcome speeches and thanks for SIFI and WFP for the Fest and the School feeding Programme the most interesting begun: acrobatic number by the little gymnast, the theatrical performance with interactive games on school feeding subject and thematic games with prizes!
Most of all children got inspired when they saw the invited guest! Arsen Julfalakyan Olympic silver medallist, World and European Champion, and three-time Olympian. Arsen participated in the activities, shared his experience and told children about healthy diet, exercising, by the way, he is also from Gyumri. He also advised teachers to arrange regularly physical activities at school lessons.
In the final part of the event children couldn't stop photographing with the famous sportsman. We are sure, each of them left the event thinking that they'll become the Olympic champion due to regular exercising and proper nutrition!
