Yesterday in Tajikistan, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population held a joint meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council on School Meals and the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council on Enhancing Attention to Nutrition (SUN Movement).
The meeting was devoted to the implementation of the The concept of school meals improvement in general educational institutions and the Strategy for Sustainable Development of School Feeding in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2027.
Participants discussed the problems encountered during the implementation of these documents' action plan items.
Following the results of the meeting, representatives of the ministries and departments, as well as development partners should prepare a detailed report on their activities under the implementation of the Concept and the Strategy, which will then be presented to the National Coordinating Council on Health and Social Protection of the Population under the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohime on June 20th.
