We often tell about the successful launch of hot meals in tajik schools. But it's important to understand that starting meals at school is only part of a whole range of works in this area.
The organization of school meals needs to be regulated and controlled. It must be clear enough, who is responsible for what, who and how can do school feeding better in order to provide high-quality nutrition for the growing generation of the country.
These issues were raised on October 30th by members of the Interagency Coordination Council on school meals at a working meeting.
The main subject of discussion was the draft document "The order of meals organization in educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan."
The provisions described in the document will allow to regulate relations between authorities at all levels, educational institutions, public catering organizations, students' parents on the issues of rational nutrition in schools in Tajikistan.
We hope for the fast adoption of the document and its successful use in the implementation of the School Meals Programme in the country!
