SIFI participates in Russian universities exhibition in Bishkek

Kyrgyzstan
From November 1 to 3, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) in Bishkek hosted an exhibition of Russian universities titled “Education in Russia - 2024-2025.” The event, organized by the headquarters of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, featured more than 30 universities.

In his welcoming remarks, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Pavel Shevtsov, noted, “This exhibition will grant future students an opportunity to visit Russia, develop into highly skilled professionals, and make new friends. In addition to being a simple human friendship, it will be a valuable professional relationship... I am sure that the exhibition will be informative and useful.”

The exposition took place in the KRSU lobby, where representatives of universities consulted guests on admission issues and quotas. The SIFI stand provided the visitors with educational materials, books for schoolchildren, and other printed content created as part of the UN WFP “School Meals Optimization in the Kyrgyz Republic” project. School headmasters showed keen interest in the educational materials and learned about the possibility of using them in schools.

Afterward, the guests proceeded to the large assembly hall to hold a meeting dedicated to the opportunities and prospects for cross-cooperation between Russian universities and schools of the Kyrgyz Republic.
