On October 25, Alisher Navoi Park in Dushanbe will transform into a vibrant, interactive platform for the first children’s festival “I Eat, Move, Grow.” The event will bring together hundreds of families eager to learn about the fundamentals of healthy eating and active lifestyles in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

The festival will serve as a unique space where learning about healthy lifestyle habits blends seamlessly with entertainment. Its main goal is to inspire school-aged children and their parents to develop good habits that can easily be carried from the festive environment into everyday life.

Сome with the whole family

The festival offers a rich and diverse program where every participant will find something enjoyable and educational, from discovering new ideas about healthy nutrition to playing games, tasting wholesome dishes, having a great time, and winning prizes.

  • Creativity and play: Children will be able to design their own T-shirts in the art zone, take part in fun sensory quests in the Taste of Childhood area, and paint clay figurines of fruits and vegetables.
  • Useful discoveries for parents: Culinary masterclasses will teach adults how to prepare delicious and healthy alternatives to fast food, from nutritious sandwiches and homemade smoothies to wholesome desserts.
  • Sports and technology: In the sports area, professional trainers will lead cheerful workouts and relay races, while the technology zone will introduce teenagers to the basics of food photography.
  • Exciting shows and entertainment: Guests will enjoy a theatrical performance about the benefits of healthy eating, a concert featuring local talents and guest artists, and a fashion show of creative costumes on the Health Runway.
  • Farmers’ market and food court: Visitors will have the chance to buy fresh, organic products from local farmers and sample healthy dishes prepared by the festival’s partners.

“Our mission is to make the topic of healthy living not a boring lesson, but an exciting adventure for the whole family,” say the organizers. “We want children to become the main ambassadors of healthy habits in their families and schools, while parents will receive practical tools to support them.”

The festival is organized with the support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, in partnership with the Russian Social and Industrial Foodservice Institute (SIFI).
