On October 2, 3 and 4, they took part in a number of meetings on school feeding issues in Armenia.
At the meeting with the deputy marzpet Sophia Ovsepyan in Shirak they discussed the programme and its implementation in the region.
At the meeting with the Head of the united community of the Arpi region special attention was paid to problematic issues and ways to improve the nutrition of students of nine schools. As a result it was agreed to work together on improvement of school canteens conditions in several schools of the community.
Together with WFP and UNDP Elena and Oksana went to Gegharkunik marz, where they visited several schools and met with representatives of the marzpetaran to discuss possible directions of further cooperation.
