Technical assessment
of school canteens
We conducted technical assessments in 28 school canteens in Khatlon Region, selected for participation in the project. Detailed plans for renovations, utility restoration, and equipment placement were developed.
of storage facilities
Construction
We developed feasibility studies for modern storage facilities in eight schools in Vakhsh and Dusti districts.

These schools were strategically included in the IFAD project, as they are part of the WFP programme and already benefit from FAO-supported greenhouses for year-round fresh produce cultivation.
Development of
educational materials
We created educational materials and organized seminars for IFAD contractors, covering regulatory frameworks, canteen modernization, construction oversight, and strategies for engaging parents and school headmasters in school feeding initiatives.

For cooks, we designed specialized training materials covering all key aspects of school meal preparation.
For staff managing food storage, we offered training on the effective use and management of modern storage facilities.
